Sloan CORE Application

Thank you for your interest in the Sloan CORE program at the University of Arizona (U of A)! Sloan CORE offers hands-on research experience with faculty mentoring, the integration of Indigenous knowledge, and a support team for participants.

About the Sloan CORE application process:

  • The application deadline is April 20, 2026.
  • The application must be completed in one sitting; you won't be able to log back into the application. That means:
    • Review the entire application carefully.
    • Prepare your answers/essays in advance and save in a word document that you can easily cut and paste into your Sloan CORE application.
    • Know your current cumulative GPA.
